Greenwich Politician Arrested On Larceny Charge In Clinton: Police
He stands accused of shoplifting from a two outlet stores at Clinton Crossing.

CLINTON, CT — Drew Marzullo, a member of the Greenwich Board of Selectmen since 2009, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree larceny in Clinton on Saturday, Aug. 26, according to the Clinton Police Department.
The charge stems from alleged shoplifting incidents involving the 46-year-old Cos Cob resident at a Skechers store and a J.Crew store in the Clinton Crossing Premium Outlet, reports the Greenwich Time.
Marzullo, a Democrat who is seeking re-election, is accused of stealing $486 worth of items from Skechers and $184 worth of items from J.Crew, writes the publication. Clinton police said the arrest occurred at about 12:30 p.m.

Patch reached out to Marzullo for comment on Friday, but has not yet heard back. A spokesperson for First Selectman Peter Tesei also has not yet returned a message seeking comment.

In addition to his Selectman's post, Marzullo is also a veteran paramedic formerly with the Greenwich Emergency Medical Service, and a Greenwich native who graduated from Greenwich High School.
