The railroad underpass on North High Street will be closed from Wednesday, Oct. 22, 11 p.m., through Thursday, October 23, 5 p.m., to address considerable deterioration of pavement in the south bound lane in the underpass and additional deterioration in the north and southbound lanes between the underpass and Route 1.

The removal work is being completed at night to assure that the road is ready for paving by 6 a.m. on the 23rd. Our paving contractor is scheduled to be on site by 6 a.m. to start the pavement restoration. We believe that all the work will be accomplished well within the allowed time frame and hope to have the road open prior to 5 p.m. on the 23rd.
