CHICAGO, IL – Put on your best poker face for the 2014 Charity Poker

and a board member of the nonprofit returns as emcee for this 9th annual No-Limit Texas
Hold ‘Em tournament. Players from all over Northwest Indiana and the
Chicagoland-area play their best hand for an evening of poker and high stakes
gambling, memorable food and drinks, prizes and of course, charity.
The event will host an estimated 270 poker players and more than 75 spectators and volunteers. Players of all levels will compete
for approximately $15,000 in prizes
including the coveted Grand Prize: a seat at the 2014 World
Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas ($10,000 value) sponsored by RW Baird.

educational experiences that allow children with cancer to enjoy just being

Check-in begins at 4:45 p.m.
Poker tournament begins at 6 p.m. (all participants should be
checked-in and seated by 5:45 p.m.) Tournament seating will be random via the
draw. Seating is limited to 270 players.

Children's Oncology Services, Inc. is a
non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life
of children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. Through One Step Programs,
COSI offers camp experiences and educational programs throughout the year that
allow children with cancer to just be kids. Founded on the principle of
volunteerism, all programs are run by counselors, medical staff and
administrators who generously donate their time and services. Tuition for
all One Step Programs is based on a family’s own assessment of their ability to
pay and no one is ever turned away. Tuition is set at a fraction of the actual
