Police Search for Missing Clinton Man

CLINTON, CT — Clinton Police are searching for Edmond Frimpong, 32, who was reported missing from Clinton on Thursday afternoon.

Frimpong, of High Street, is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 260 pounds. He was last seen at 1 p.m. on Dec. 22.

A Silver Alert was issued late Thursday night for Frimpong.

“Frimpong is affiliated with a program for adults with intellectual disabilities,” police said in a post on Facebook late Thursday night. “He was last seen at his group home at about 1 p.m. today and failed to return home this evening.

“Staff members indicate Frimpong needs to take his meds or may become delusional, and could become agitated.”

Frimpong is originally from the Hartford area.

There was no clothing description available for the last clothes he was seen wearing.
