Women Stole $10K Worth Of Items From Clinton Crossings Outlets: Police
Police say the women are accused of stealing hundreds of items of clothing and footwear from about 13 different stores.
CLINTON, CT — Three women from Springfield, Massachusetts were charged with stealing nearly $10,000 worth of items from about 13 different stores at Clinton Crossings Outlets on Saturday, according to police.
Clinton Police responded to Clinton Crossings just before 4 p.m. on Saturday for an unfounded report of suspicious activity, according to Sgt. Jeremiah Dunn.
Upon investigating the initial incident, an employee of the Polo Outlet store approached police on the scene and reported that his store had just been victimized by a group of female shoplifters.

Dunn said a description of the suspects was provided and officers quickly located three females in the lower level of Clinton Crossing.
“The three females were identified and determined to have committed several acts of shoplifting at several different stores at Clinton Crossing today,” Dunn said in a press release. “The vehicle that the females were driving in was then located parked in the outlet center parking lot. Inside that vehicle police observed and seized several plastic bags containing hundreds of items of clothing, and footwear that were determined to have been stolen from approximately 13 different stores at Clinton Crossing Outlets today.”

Dunn said the recovered stolen property was valued at nearly $10,000.
Arrested were:

Betzaida Rodriguez, 31, of Pendleton Ave., Springfield, Mass.

Delia Rodriguez-Perez, 38, of Cares St., Springfield, Mass.

Sheyla Orengo, 26, of Summit St., Springfield, Mass.
All three women were charged with second-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. They were each held on a $5,000 bond.
