• Block Grant Funds Headed To Mansfield, Coventry For Housing Rehab (patch.com) — Coventry is receiving $2 million in state and federal block grant funds to modernize the Orchard Hill Estates public housing complex, including driveway replacement, added ADA parking, new lighting, and upgraded water systems. The project will also replace heat pumps, improve drainage, add accessible gazebos, and upgrade security cameras, aiming to improve safety and quality of life for local low- and moderate-income residents.
   

• Replacement of Speed Limit Signs on Local Roads in Connecticut (ct.gov) — Speed limit signs on rural roads in Coventry will be replaced with new, more visible versions as part of a statewide CTDOT project running from July 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027. Drivers can expect shoulder closures and alternating one-way traffic at times, with police or flaggers directing vehicles while the $1.56 million project is completed.
