Coventry firefighters, assisted by crews from nearby towns and UConn, quickly brought the blaze under control, and investigators are still determining the cause.
   

• Coventry man dies following August motorcycle crash in Mansfield, police say (nhregister.com) — A 50-year-old Coventry resident, Lloyd Braman, has died at Hartford Hospital after being seriously injured in an August 29 motorcycle crash in Mansfield. State police say he lost control of his Harley-Davidson on Mansfield City Road, and the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.

One had to be locked down in office (courant.com) — Coventry's council chair and town manager describe rising harassment, antisemitic incidents, and safety fears at local meetings, prompting plans for more security at town hall.
