A local resident turned a $10 scratch-off into a big prize, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
DANBURY, CT — A Danbury resident is now $10,000 richer after playing a Connecticut Lottery scratch-off game.
The anonymous resident won the grand prize from the 10X CASH 18th Edition game, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The ticket was purchased for $10 at Hat City Wine & Liquor LLC, located at 186 Osborne St.

There are 225 grand prize-winning tickets out of over 5.2 million tickets of the game, the Connecticut Lottery website notes.
