2 Danbury Residents Accused Of Driving Drunk In New York
They were among three Connecticut drivers were arrested in the town of Southeast Dec. 8, New York State police said.
SOUTHEAST, NY — Two Danbury residents are among 22 people New York State Police in Troop K say they removed from the public roadways during the Dec. 7 weekend. A third man from Brookfield was also arrested.
Each was charged with driving while intoxicated in the town of Southeast, New York.
- New York state troopers arrested Jhon J. Penaherrera, 19, of Danbury, CT, on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated. He was traveling on State Route 6 in Southeast when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
- State troopers arrested Sergio V. Castro Torres, 45, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on North Salem Road in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
- New York State police from Brewster arrested Joseph R. Dilascio, 21, of Brookfield, CT, on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Southeast when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
