2 Hospitalized Following Danbury Condo Fire

Four condo units were affected by the fire in Danbury, displacing five adults and one dog

DANBURY, CT — Two people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries following a condominium complex blaze in Danbury, just after 4 p.m. Monday.

First responders from Danbury Fire Department to the area of Rose Lane found heavy fire showing from the Park Ridge Condo complex. Fire officials then called for a second alarm, bringing more fire companies to the scene.

Emergency workers swiftly searched the building and determined all occupants were accounted for, according to fire officials. The fire was brought under control in 45 minutes.

Four condo units were affected by the fire, displacing five adults and one dog. Personnel from Danbury Emergency Management, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army all provided support services to the families, fire officials reported.
