20-Year-Old Danbury Man Killed In Crash On I-84: State Police
Jorge Eduardo Martinez, 20, of Danbury, died when his car jumped a guardrail and hit an embankment on I-84 early Christmas Eve, police said.
DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man died in a fatal car crash while traveling on Interstate 84 Christmas Eve, according to the Connecticut State Police.
Jorge Eduardo Martinez, 20, of Avalon Valley Drive was driving his 2016 Honda westbound at 3:11 a.m. when he veered to the right off of the road, into the grassy area of Exit 5. The car became airborne, up an over the guard rail and into an embankment, according to Trooper Matthew Dogali's report.
Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The case is currently under investigation. The State Police are urging anyone with more information to contact Trooper Dogali at Troop A at 203-267-2200.
