The confrontation was allegedly sparked by an incident that occurred at Tuxedo Junction in 2010.

DANBURY, CT-- A court awarded a 24-year-old Danbury man more than $300,000 for an alleged stabbing after an incident at Tuxedo Junction in 2012, according to the Connecticut Law Tribune.

Terrence McCall, of Danbury, was recently awarded $378,175 after suing Tuxedo Junction Entertainment, according to the report.

A New Haven court awarded McCall economic damages for his medical expenses, as well as damages for pain, suffering and scarring after being assaulted at the Danbury nightclub, the report stated.

According to The News Times, McCall was one of six men arrested in 2010 after another incident that was allegedly sparked by a confrontation at the same nightclub.

Sgt. Christian Caroccio told the paper that police received 911 calls after 2:30 a.m. regarding a large group with baseball bats and knives outside of an Irving Place residence. McCall was charged with attempted assault after police said he was accused of trying to hit the intended victim's mother, according to the paper.

Court records show McCall was arrested in 2010 for disorderly conduct, second degree threatening and criminal trespass and was found guilty on all charges.

Court records also show McCall was arrested for interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, two counts of third degree assault, second degree robbery, reckless driving and possession of narcotics, all in 2014.
