Monday evening (Nov. 21) many people who worship in a variety of ways and at different religious institutions will come together to celebrate being thankful at ARC's annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. The service will be held at the Central Christian Church, 71 West Street, Danbury at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to attend.
"For 25 year's ARC (the Association of Religious Communities) has organized this wonderful community event," said ARC's Executive Director, Rev. PJ Leopold. "This year's theme is Thankful for Homes, Pray for Housing. The greater Danbury community has always rallied together when there are difficult times facing us. This is a wonderful time to demonstrate our support for all people and to be grateful for what we have."
ARC has been in Danbury for over 40 years. Last year over 8,000 people were touched by ARC's many services.
