3 Danbury Residents Accused of Drunk Driving In New York

New York State police in Putnam County said they removed 27 impaired drivers from the roads last weekend. Among them were three Danbury residents and a man from Waterbury.
On October 27, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Galdino Herrera Perez, 47, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.

On October 28, State Police from SP Dover Plains arrested Kash C. Ziemba, 32, of Waterbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Patterson, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
On October 28, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Rafael Batista Pereira, 36, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was involved in a one vehicle property damage collision. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
