89-Year-Old Danbury Man Killed in Crash on I-84: Report

Police said the man was driving at a high speed before striking a concrete barrier and colliding with another vehicle.

DANBURY, CT-- A Danbury man was killed Thursday morning after crashing into a concrete barrier and another vehicle while getting off I-84 eastbound at Exit 5 and then smashing into a Honda Pilot, according to The News Times.

Police said the 89-year-old man was driving a Hyundai Sonata at a high speed before crashing into a concrete barrier, the report said.

Thomas Finik, of Lake Place, Danbury, died as a result of his injuries, according to the report.
