Absentee Ballots Set To Be Mailed To Danbury Residents

Nearly 9,000 absentee ballots will be mailed out to Danbury residents who have requested them.

DANBURY, CT — The town clerk's office will be mailing out nearly 9,000 ballots on Friday, Mayor Mark Boughton announced on Facebook.

The ballots will only be sent to residents who filled out an application requesting them, the mayor emphasized.

Residents may send their completed ballots back to the town clerk's office or drop them off in the marked box outside of City Hall or at the King Street Firehouse.

The deadline for collection of absentee ballots from the drop boxes is at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3, Election Day.
