Traffic Delays Expected Near Danbury High School Graduation

DANBURY, CT — Drivers should expect traffic delays near Danbury High School on June 18 as the Class of 2026 celebrates graduation.

City officials said increased traffic is expected between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. around Danbury High School, where commencement is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. A rain date is set for June 19 at the same time.

Motorists can expect congestion on Clapboard Ridge Road, Golden Hill Road and nearby streets.

Drivers should allow extra travel time, seek alternate routes when possible and use caution due to increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
