Danbury Secures Land for New West Side Fire Station (i95rock.com) β Danbury has secured three acres at The Reserve off Old Ridgebury Road to finally build a long-discussed West Side fire station, improving emergency response for that growing part of town. City officials say this land deal is a key milestone, with design and construction planning still ahead and more updates promised as the project moves forward.

Free Flu Shots Available To Danbury Residents: No Insurance Needed (patch.com) β Danbury residents can soon get free flu shots at Rogers Park Middle School, with no insurance required and vaccines available for everyone six months and older.
