Arconti Appointed to State House Leadership Team
Arconti represents the 109th District, in Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — State Representative David Arconti (D-109) was named Chair of the legislature's Energy and Technology Committee on Thursday. He was also re-appointed as a member of the Environment Committee and General Law Committee.
The Energy and Technology Committee has cognizance on all matters relating to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, energy planning and activities.
"I am honored to serve as Chair of the Energy & Technology Committee and continue the great work the committee has done over the past sessions," said Arconti, who previously served as a member of the committee. "I am eager to help shape Connecticut's energy future for the better and continue moving the state forward."

Rep. Arconti, who will begin his fourth term and will be sworn in Wednesday, Jan. 9, will work alongside first-term legislator Rep-Elect Raghib Allie-Brennan (D-2), who was appointed as Vice-Chair of the Committee.
In the past years, the Energy and Technology Committee has worked on issues concerning net neutrality, climate change planning and resiliency, development of sustainable and equitable funding for energy efficiency, and severe storm response plans and strategic communications.
