Avon Grant to Help Reduce Sexual Assault at Danbury's WCSU

A grant from the Avon Foundation for Women will help support Western Connecticut State University’s “Where Do You Stand?” campaign.

The grant is in the amount of $10,000, according to the Danbury News-Times.

The campaign aims to reduce sexual assault, dating abuse and stalking, and those participating will learn intervention techniques.

Funds come from the foundation’s “Speak Out Against Domestic Violence” initiative.
