Award Winning Author June Hyjek at Connecticut Gift Expo

On Saturday, December 13th, and Sunday December 14th from 11-5, award-winning author June Hyjek will appear at the Connecticut Gift Expo at The O’Neill Center at Western Connecticut State University to sign Unexpected Grace: A Discovery of Healing Through Surrender.

Unexpected Grace provides the tools you need to ditch the pills and use a mind/body approach to find physical and emotional healing in life’s transitions and challenges

“Out of frustration, desperation and curiosity, more and more people are looking for holistic ways to get through their daily struggles, and medical challenges”, says Hyjek. “The holidays, and New Year’s are the most stressful parts of any year. Hyjek is excited to take part in the Connecticut Gift Expo. “When people are running about buying the wonderful crafts and gifts that will be featured. My booth will be the place to take a breath. June Hyjek is a graduate of the Advanced Training Program at the Center for MindBody Medicine, with a focus on mindbody therapies for pain and stress. In addition to her training at the Center, she is a Certified Hypnotherapist with the American Alliance of Hypnotists. June has also studied and continues to practice a wide variety of meditation techniques, including mindfulness, transcendental, Chi Kung, chanting and mantras, as well as many Buddhist and Hindu practices.
