Body Found In Car At Danbury Walmart Parking Lot: Police

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Police Department has begun an investigation following their discovery of a body in a car in a local parking lot.

Police were called to the Walmart lot on Newtown Road on Monday after someone reported a car that had been parked in the same place for a few days. They found the body of a 42-year-old New London man in the backseat of the vehicle. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was called to the scene.

According to Danbury police spokesperson Erin Henry, the "death does not appear to be suspicious."
