Bonadio Candy and Tobacco Company Salesman George 'Ziggy' Sager Passed Away
The Rite of Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — George "Ziggy" Sager, age 87, of Danbury, died on Friday morning, May 6, 2016 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Sager was born in Danbury, November 10, 1928, son of Abraham and Anna (Dadous) Sager. He attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School.
George was employed with the former Bonadio Candy and Tobacco Company of Danbury as a route salesman.
He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Danbury and of its Men's Club.
George is survived by two sisters, Sara Sager of Danbury and Helen Folwarski and her husband, John of New Jersey; a niece Erica, nephew David and his wife Sona and a grandniece Karina.
The Rite of Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Clapboard Ridge Rd. (Rt. 39N), Danbury with the V. Rev. Fr. George Alberts, Pastor of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Danbury officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Clapboard Ridge Rd. (Rt. 39N), Danbury on Tuesday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Contributions in George's memory may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church Building Fund, 125 Kohanza St., Danbury, CT 06811.
