Brookfield's GREEN STAR ENERGY SOLUTIONS Announces Northeast Projects

Green Star Energy Solutions has recently completed a number of comprehensive projects in the Northeast aimed at improving the comfort, safety and energy efficiency of their client’s buildings and workspaces. Recent projects include:

St. Joseph’s – Brookfield, CT
Over the past 18 months, Green Star Energy Solutions has performed over 20 energy audits for parishes throughout the Bridgeport Diocese to help the Church meet the sustainability goals recently established by Pope Francis. The Dioceses mission is to replace outdated heating and cooling systems and make building shell improvements. St. Joseph Church in Brookfield is the first parish to receive to enroll in the complete energy program and includes the Church, Rectory, Parish Center and School (approximately 29,000 sq. ft.). A Solar Photovoltaic system will be installed to power all electrical demand for the four buildings which include new air source heat pump heating and air conditioning systems.

The Grind – New York, NY
A members-only shared workspace and coworking community, The Grind is a high occupancy office space that required a high performance commercial VRF heat pump heating and cooling system combined with heat recovery ventilation to provide optimal comfort and energy efficiency.

Energy Circle – Portland, ME

Energy Circle specializes in providing marketing services for energy efficiency firms so creating a high performance, energy efficient space was paramount. Two floors, consisting of 5,000 sq. ft. were newly fit out with a commercial VRF heat pump system.
