Brooks Brothers, Fossil, Lovesac Coming to Danbury Fair Mall
Three new stores are either under construction or about to begin construction at the mall, and two entrances are being rebuilt. Cheesecake Factory opens on August 29.
Brooks Brothers, a ready-to-wear fashion store founded in 1818 is expected to open this fall on the Danbury Fair Mall's lower level, and Fossil Inc., a retailer of fashion watches and jewelry is expected to open this fall across the corridor from Brooks Brothers.
One restaurant now under construction, the Cheesecake Factory, has scheduled its opening for August 29. A second, Brio is expected to open this fall before the holiday season.
"Brooks Brothers is a big win for us," said Melissa Eigen, marketing director with the Danbury Fair Mall. "It fits in with our goal of adding the better brands."

Brooks Brothers offers a full line of business and casual clothing accessories for men and women, including dress shirts, ties, pants and sweaters. Eigen said Brooks Brothers has long been one of the top requested stores to be added to the mall. It will open this fall.
Lovesac Alternative Furniture Co. was founded in 1996, and today it has 46 stores. The store specializes in washable, changeable, modular furniture. The store offers lighting, rugs, paint and accessories, as well as its signature "sactionals," which are oversized sac furniture. Fossil offers its brand watches and jewelry while focusing on design, innovation and high fashion accessory products. Fossil watches have a 'retro,' look about them that makes them look curiously both old and new.
Eigen said the two entrances, one on the Macys side of Dick's Sporting Goods, and the second on the Sears side of Dicks's, will be renovated with tile, plantings and seatings designed to look like the renovated interior of the mall.
