Blown Tire Cause of Bus Fire in Danbury

The New York City bound Megabus that caught on fire on I-84 in Danbury at around 12 p.m. was due to a blown tire, the News Times reports.

The bus stopped just before exit 4 and all 50 passengers were evacuated with no injuries and put on a replacement bus.

According to the publication, the fire was put out within minutes and bus was towed at around 3 p.m.
