Motorist Arrested in Danbury Mall Crash: UPDATE
Both motorists were later treated for minor injuries.
DANBURY, CT — A local man was arrested following a two car crash near the Danbury Fair Mall on Thursday afternoon. Both motorists were later treated for minor injuries, police report.
David Turcios, 21, of Harrison Street, was charged with reckless driving, improper passing and failure to obey signs and road markings. He was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, and later arrested. The second motorist was evaluated at the scene, and declined to go to the hospital
First responders at the crash, which occurred at Park Avenue and Segar Street around 3 p.m., used stop signs to redirect traffic around the mall, as the crash knocked out nearby traffic lights.
