DANBURY, CT — CityCenter Danbury has cancelled Friday night’s free concert due to a forecast of rain and severe weather.
The weekly concert on the Danbury Green would have starred BonJourneyNY, a Bon Jovi and Journey tribute band.
The National Weather Service has issued the following dire forecast: "Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain... Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."
