Company Receives Award for Building New Wing at Danbury Hospital
Gilbane Building Company received the award for the construction of the new Peter and Carmen Lúcia Buck Pavilion at Danbury Hospital.
DANBURY, CT-- The Associated General Contractors of Connecticut awarded Gilbane Building Company with its Build CT Award for the construction of the new patient tower, also known as Peter and Carmen Lúcia Buck Pavilion, at Danbury Hospital, according to a press release.

The new 13-story, 300,000-plus square foot new patient tower, was designed by The SLAM Collaborative. The new addition features three new 25-bed medical/surgical floors, a new 30-bed intensive care unit, and a 90,000 square foot emergency room department. It also features a healing garden.

The Build Connecticut Award recognizes contractors in Connecticut who display skill, integrity and responsibility.
Gilbane Construction is based in Glastonbury.
