COVID-19 In Danbury: 1 More Death, 38 New Cases

DANBURY, CT — Mayor Mark Boughton that 38 more residents have tested positive for the new coronavirus, and there has been one more death attributed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
There have been 1,647 COVID-19 cases confirmed in the city, and 81 Danbury residents have died from the virus.
In April, Danbury Hospital discharged 300 people who have recovered from COVID-19, Boughton posted on social media.

Connecticut had its 10th consecutive day of fewer coronavirus hospitalizations, but the state also had 97 newly-reported deaths Saturday.
There were 523 new lab-confirmed coronavirus cases out of 2,236 results along with 41 fewer hospitalizations. There have been 29,287 cases, 2,436 deaths and currently 1,551 hospitalizations.
