The Connecticut Whale plays in the National Womens' Hockey League

DANBURY, CT — The National Women’s Hockey League’s Connecticut Whale will be playing all their home games and practices for the 2019-20 season in the Danbury Arena, the team's general manager announced Monday.

The Whale played their two last seasons in Terry Connors Rink in Stamford. Prior to that, they skated at Chelsea Piers (2015-16) and Northford Ice Pavilion (2016-17).

"The Whale are very proud to establish a partnership with Danbury Arena," said Whale GM Bray Ketchum, in a release. "It is a truly great hockey arena with the amenities our team and Whale fans deserve. We hope to make Danbury Arena the home of the Connecticut Whale for many seasons to come."
