Danbury Artist Reinvents Herself With First Solo Art Show

Mary-Margaret Walsh 's inaugural installation "Moving Into Color" will be held April 14.

Danbury, CT - April 4th 2016 - "Moving Into Color", Mary-Margaret Walsh 's inaugural installation is her photographic journey to rediscover her hometown Brooklyn and explores how she re-invented herself in the middle of her life.

Her photographs express the gifts of hope, rebirth and gratitude. "A bridge to my childhood, my photographs are my eyes into my return home, which inspired me to move into color.”

"Moving Into Color" is part of Accessible Art, a year long multi site series of visual art exhibitions, presented by the Cultural Alliance of Western CT.

A Danbury resident and graduate of Fairfield University, Mary-Margaret is an actress, a poet and a longtime volunteer at the Palace Theater in Danbury.

Mary-Margaret's work will be on display at CityCenter Danbury, April 11th-June 14th 2016.
