DANBURY, CT — Crews extinguished an apartment fire Thursday night.
The Danbury Fire Department was alerted to a fire in in the area of Wildman Street and Austin Street at 8:45 p.m.
First responders found smoke and fire showing from the first floor apartment window of a 2-story home and declared a working fire, bringing additional resources to the scene.

Crews began working to extinguish the blaze from the exterior of the home, before entering the building and finishing the job.
After searching the home, firefighters reported there were no occupants inside, and no injuries were reported.
