Danbury to Debut Online Permit System

Danbury residents will soon be able to apply for permits and make payments from their home or office.

DANBURY, CT — The City has introduced a new electronic permit processing system, and will be holding seminars to explain how to use it.

Applicants will now be able to apply for permits and make payments from their home or office. Users can interact with staff by reading and responding to comments on the project throughout the process, according to a news release.

The Permit Center will be holding public seminars consisting of basic training on utilization and advantages of the new system prior to the official launch in early November. Public seminars will be held on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the first floor conference room of City Hall.
