Danbury Declares Level 2 Snow Emergency

To avoid having their vehicle ticketed and towed, residents must move to off-street parking by 7:00 p.m. Monday.

DANBURY, CT — Mayor Dean Esposito has declared a Level 2 Snow Emergency in effect for the City of Danbury as of 5 p.m. on Monday.

Parking is prohibited on city streets. To avoid having their vehicle ticketed and towed, residents must move to off-street parking by 7:00 p.m. Monday.

The Patriot Parking Garage will be open free of charge starting at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate those who need space to comply with this weather emergency. Residents should not travel on city streets unless it is absolutely necessary, according to a statement from the Mayor's Office.
