Democratic Candidate for Mayor Roberto Alves, announced a historic $125,523 first-quarter fundraising total with 445 individual contributors in the 10 weeks following his campaign announcement. Alves has raised more than any candidate in Danbury history in a single quarter and outpaced the incumbent Republican Mayor who began fundraising for re-election 38 weeks ago in July 2022.

“The showing of support for our campaign is humbling, and empowering for our entire team, and it’s more than just a number,” said Democratic Candidate for Mayor Roberto Alves. “Our team is working tirelessly, and building on the momentum we’ve gained every day.
