Danbury Dems To Field Full Slate Of Candidates In November Elections

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Democratic Town Committee will be fielding a full slate of candidates in the November municipal election.

At the top of the ticket will be Roberto Alves, running for mayor against Republican incumbent Dean Esposito.

The slate was locked down during the DTC's 2023 Municipal Nomination Meeting, held Tuesday evening.

"The slate is representative of the fabric of our great city and Roberto will lead us to victory in November," DTC chairman Larry Riefberg said in a statement released Wednesday.
