Danbury Family Seeks Help After Losing Mother of 3 Young Girls
"We have always wanted a big family…God's way of delivering it was just a little different than what we had planned."

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury family needs help building after they unexpectedly lost a loved one this past March.
On Friday, March 11, Niki Newton-Cappello, mother of 3 young girls, passed away. Gabby, age 10, Reagan, age 8 and Riley, age 6, will be raised by their aunt who has a young son of her own, Chase. Ms. Newton-Cappello, a single mom, told her sister-in-law that her final wishes were for her sister Tethra Wallace, her brother Jon Stellwagen and sister-in-law Amy Stellwagen to care for her girls.
The children created the name "Team CSW" based upon the first letters of their last names— Cappello, Stellwagen, and Wallace and are calling themselves the “Cappellwagens.”

The family is seeking financial help to convert their 2-family home into a single family residence to make room for all of their children. Amy is also leaving her job to care for the children full-time. The family wrote on their fundraising page:
"Niki was a single mother and was often faced with challenging times emotionally and financially. Through all of her stresses and challenges she raised three amazing daughters. Her girls wanted for nothing, were apart of every school and sport activity available, were raised with impeccable manners and always had a house full of love. We may have lost Niki, but I know she is proud and approves of our new team. We see this challenge as an incredible opportunity to continue Niki’s legacy as a mother, for Chase to gain three sisters, and for Amy, Tethra and myself to provide a future for three remarkable girls."
