Danbury Farmers Market Opening Day On Saturday

Now in its 12th year, the CityCenter Danbury Farmers Market​ is a project of the Danbury Farmers Market Community Collaborative.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Farmers Market is back on the Danbury City Center Green, Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. through Oct. 29,

Parking is available at the Patriot Garage, across the street from the market.

Live entertainment, along with new food and craft vendors, will be in the mix this year, according to a news release from CityCenter Danbury.

Union Savings Bank is sponsoring live music by Justin Chan and the Vices, a dance class by Just Dance Studio, and a special Macaroni Kids Family Fun Zone. There will also be giant tic-tac-toe and "Connect Four" games, and a "veggie treasure hunt" for the children.

"There's no better way to eat than from the farm to your home, and what better way to strengthen your local community than to shop and eat locally!" said CityCenter manager Lazaro Chavez.
