Danbury Farmers Market Returns For Its 14th Season
New vendors of seafood, coffee, brewery, crafts, musical entertainment and more will join the familiar local merchants this year.
DANBURY, CT —Danbury Farmers Market will return to the Danbury CityCenter Green, Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., beginning June 24.
The market, entering its 14th year, will be open through October 28.
Joining the local produce, eggs, honey, jams, plants, flowers, and bread this year will be new vendors of seafood, coffee, brewery, crafts, musical entertainment and more, according to organizer CityCenter Danbury.

Complimentary 2-hour parking will be available at the Patriot Garage at 21 Delay Street, right across the street from the market.
To celebrate Opening Day, Mayor Dean Esposito will ring the opening bell at 10:15 a.m. along with Congresswoman Jahanna Hayes, State Senator Julie Kushner, State Representative Bob Godfrey and a representative from the Fairfield Country’s Community Foundation.

There will be a live music performance by Cobalt Blue Band, along with a special Family Fun Zone brought to you by Macaroni Kids from crafts, games, balloon twisting from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The "veggie treasure hunt" returns, with bubbles as the prize.
CT SNAP Match will be accepted and matched at any dollar amount, and the market will offer double Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers for seniors and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) recipients. Veterans with ID will receive $10 in market coins per market.
In addition to the Saturday market, a satellite market will be held monthly at the Danbury Senior Center 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month, beginning July 19.
