Week of Events:

  • July 24 - Pop Up Shop Marketplace: Selected designers will be paired with a local business to set up a pop up shop inside the businesses storefront. This event will be open to the community in order to support not just the artists but the local businesses as well.
  • July 25 - Designer Led Workshops: Workshops provided by the selected designers. These workshops give the designers a chance to share their unique skills and ideas to the community.
  • July 26 - Film Screening and Panel Discussion: We will host a film screening with a panel afterwards, highlighting an aspect of the fashion industry.
  • July 27 - Launch Party Designers, Models, Bloggers and Guests will mingle the night before in preparation for the Day of Shows to kickoff.
  • July 28 - Day of Shows + After Party: Finally, the week will end with a Fashion Show, exposing the designers most recent fashion line. Afterwards a party will take place celebrating the designers and thanking our supporters.

For Danbury's first Fashion Week, designers will be selected to create 8-10 looks for a runway show. Each designer selected will be featured in the show and the pop-up shop market.
