Danbury FD Battle Car Fire on I-84

DANBURY, CT — Firefighters were called to handle a car fire on Interstate 84 Thursday morning. No injuries were reported.

The Danbury FD dispatched crews early Thursday to the area of Interstate 84 around Exit 2 to answer a call about a car fire. Firefighters maneuvered their apparatus to block off the right lane while crews worked to extinguish the car burning on the right shoulder.

The fire was extinguished quickly.
