Danbury Firefighters Free Boy's Finger from Seat Buckle
The boy got his finger stuck in a buckle of a seat belt was taken to the ER
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters were called to emergency room of Danbury Hospital Friday night to free a boy from a seat belt.
Danbury firefighters were tasked with freeing the finger of a 5-year-old boy stuck in the buckle of seat belt from a school bus. The boy and the belt were in an arriving New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department ambulance.
"After Several attempts to remove the buckle manually, Rescue 1 used their diamond blade and Dremel tool to remove the buckle safely. The child was evaluated and later released from the ER. Another fine job by Rescue 1," the firefighters posted to Facebook.
