Danbury Firefighters Rescue Boy From Tree
The 4-year-old was trapped 16 feet up in the tree.
DANBURY, CT — Firefighters put a new spin upon the old cliché of rescuing a cat from a tree Monday, when members of the Danbury Fire Department came to the aid of a 4-year-old boy.
The boy's mother called for help when her son had successfully "climbed 16 feet up a tree, but couldn't master getting down," according to a post on the fire company's Facebook page.
Firefighter Nick Nunnally made the rescue, and found "the young lad was no worse for the wear."
