Danbury Firefighters Rescue Cat Caught In Tree

DANBURY, CT — You can't beat the classics.

According to a report from the Danbury Fire Department, crews came to the rescue of a cat that went up a tree on Saturday during a storm.

Sisters Leah and Aria had put food at the base of the tree, but after a few days the cat still wasn't biting. Mom called 911 and Danbury Fire came to the rescue.

"Truck 1 arrived and was able to reach the cat, and bring her down to the girls. Mom, girls, and Kitty were reunited and are fine!" the firefighters posted to social media.
