Danbury GOP To Field Full Slate Of Candidates In November Elections

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Republican Town Committee will be fielding a full slate of candidates in the November municipal election.

At the top of the ticket again will be Mayor Dean Esposito, running for his second term against Democratic challenger Roberto Alves.

The slate was locked down during a special meeting of the RTC, held Monday evening at Anthony’s Lake Club in Danbury.

"Looking around the room tonight and seeing all of these supporters, from all walks of life, all working for one common goal: making Danbury the best city it can be. I know we will win in November," Esposito said in his acceptance speech.
