Danbury High Athletes Make College Sports Plans
The colleges they will attend include Southern Connecticut State University and Fairfield University.

A signing-day ceremony Tuesday at Danbury High School saw four student athletes making plans to continue playing sports in college.
An article in the Danbury News-Times said Julia Lener will go to Southern Connecticut State University to play softball, while Andy Stock will play golf at Monmouth University.
Eric Cerno decided to attend Fairfield University to play baseball, and Jason Goetz will continue playing baseball while going to Iona College.

Athletic Director Chip Salvestrini was quoted by the News-Times as saying when one signs a national letter of intent that signifies the athlete is of national caliber.
