Danbury High to Offer Incoming Freshmen Chance for Assoc. Degree
The program is offered by Naugatuck Valley Community College.

The Danbury High School Early College Opportunity program will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday.
The event, which is open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of the high school at 43 Clapboard Ridge Rd.
According to a school district press release, 100 incoming freshmen will have an opportunity to earn an associate degree in information technology, in computer programming or business analysis, along with their high school diploma.

Students will be able to accelerate their high school requirements in order to begin incorporating college-level courses in the sophomore or junior years.
The associate degree can be completed in four to six years.
