Danbury Inmate Admits to Possessing a Weapon
He pleaded guilty in Bridgeport federal court.

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury inmate pleaded guilty Wednesday in Bridgeport federal court to possessing contraband in prison.
According to court documents and statements made in court on March 12 and cited in a release today from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut, John Faucher, 41, an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, possessed an object designed or intended to be used as a weapon.
Faucher is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill on October 3, at which time he faces a maximum term of imprisonment of five years.
