On Saturday, February 3, children and families are invited to attend this year’s Take Your Child to the Library Day, the national event that celebrates the valuable role libraries play in raising ready learners for life. There will be games, crafts, prizes, and of course, the chance to borrow some fantastic books.

Additionally, the Friends of the Danbury Library have generously donated hundreds of brand new books to be gifted to all who attend this event in order to help build families’ home libraries in support of lifelong literacy.
